What's Included

Our ICT Networking & IoT solutions

Structured Cabling

Neat, certified network cabling for offices, homes and industrial sites that performs at full speed.

Wi-Fi & Wireless Networking

Whole-home and office Wi-Fi coverage with no dead zones — mesh and access point setups that handle modern workloads.

Business Network Setup

Routers, switches, VLANs and network security configured properly for small and medium businesses.

IoT & Smart Device Integration

Connected devices that talk to each other — sensors, automation controllers and monitoring systems.

Industrial IoT

Sensors and connectivity for operations, monitoring and control in industrial and agricultural environments.

Network Troubleshooting

Slow internet, dropouts, dead ports — we find and fix the problem, not just the symptom.

Fibre & Broadband Setup

Fibre is rolling out across the Eastern Cape, with networks like Openserve, Frogfoot, Vumatel and MetroFibre serving towns like Mthatha and East London through ISPs like WIRUlink and Mweb. We handle everything on your side of the wall box: internal cabling, router placement, access points and final setup, so you actually get the speeds you pay for instead of a router stuck in a cupboard.

Estate & Complex Networks

Security estates and complexes have different needs to a single home. We design and install the backbone behind estate gate access, camera systems and shared Wi-Fi at clubhouses and entrances, with a proper cabinet, labelled cabling and remote monitoring so the trustees are not dependent on whoever locked the server room.

Wireless Links for Rural Properties

Not every plot or farm in the Eastern Cape is on the fibre footprint. Where there is line of sight to a tower, we install fixed wireless point-to-point links that carry stable internet, camera feeds and farm management traffic without the cost of trenching cable. We also make sure the link is hardened against lightning, because summer storms are part of life here.

What to Expect

Real jobs, honest expectations

Typical projects we handle

  • Home fibre installs: router placement, wall boxes and whole-house Wi-Fi coverage
  • Managed UniFi systems for guest houses, offices and small businesses, with a central dashboard and remote support
  • Estate and complex rollouts covering cameras, gate access and shared Wi-Fi
  • Farm and rural wireless links for plots and smallholdings off the fibre footprint

What affects the price

  • The number of network points and cable runs, because each physical point and the distance from the switch to it adds to the job
  • Whether the solution is a single good router or a multi-access-point system with a wired backbone for bigger homes and estates
  • Backup power: the size of the UPS and its battery depends on how long you want the network alive during load shedding
  • Site conditions such as roof access, brick or concrete walls, and whether we are building from scratch or patching into an existing cabinet

FAQ

ICT Networking & IoT — common questions

My Wi-Fi is slow in some rooms — can you fix it?+

Usually, yes. We map your space, find the weak spots and install the right access points or mesh system to give you full coverage.

What is IoT and do I need it?+

IoT means connecting everyday devices to the internet so they can be monitored and controlled. If you want remote control of lights, gates, sensors or equipment, we design the integration for you.

Do you work with existing network equipment?+

Yes. We can work with your current hardware, upgrade what's needed and configure everything to perform properly.

Do you install the fibre itself, or only the wiring inside?+

We handle the inside. The fibre network operator runs the line to your property, and we take over at the wall box: internal cabling, router placement, wall points and Wi-Fi coverage. If your street is not covered yet, we can point you to the right ISP or network to contact first, since coverage differs between towns and suburbs.

I'm on a plot outside town with no fibre. What are my options?+

A fixed wireless link is usually the answer. If you have reasonable line of sight to a tower or radio base, we can install a point-to-point link that comfortably handles internet, cameras and work calls. It depends on the terrain and the distance, so we do a site check before promising anything.

Should we put the router on a UPS for load shedding?+

We recommend it. The cheapest and most useful backup you can buy is a small UPS that keeps the router and a switch running through power cuts, so Wi-Fi, cameras and phone systems stay up while the rest of the house goes dark. How long it lasts depends on the battery and the equipment, and we size it according to what you need to keep online.
