We fit and align the beams properly and set the motor's anti-crush sensitivity so the gate stops and reverses instead of forcing its way through. On D5-Evo and similar Centurion controllers, properly fitted beams also switch on the ambush and break-in alarm features that can alert armed response.

My gate motor is not working — can you fix it?+
Most likely, yes. Common issues are dead batteries, faulty remotes, sensor misalignment and gear wear. We diagnose the problem and give you a clear quote before doing any work.
Which gate motor should I buy?+
It depends on the weight and size of your gate. Undersized motors fail fast. We match the right motor to your gate so it lasts.
Can you install a motor on my existing gate?+
Yes. We automate existing swing and sliding gates, including structural checks to make sure the gate can handle automation.
Will my gate motor still work during load shedding?+
Yes, as long as the battery is healthy. Automatic gate motors carry their own backup battery, typically two 7Ah batteries, that keep the gate opening and closing through a power cut. Those batteries wear out after two to three years depending on how much the gate is used, so we test the battery on every service and swap it before it lets you down.
Why does my gate stop halfway or run very slowly?+
Usually one of three things: a tired battery, worn rack and gear teeth, or a gate that is physically struggling because the wheels or rail need attention. When a motor has to drag a heavy, stiff gate it puts strain on the gearbox, and gearbox replacements are the pricey ones. So it is worth having us check the gate itself, not just the motor.
Do I really need safety beams?+
Not to make the gate run, but we strongly recommend them, especially where children, pets or people walk through the opening. Beams make the gate stop and reverse if anything crosses the path, and on newer Centurion controllers they also enable the ambush and break-in alarm features. It is a small cost compared to what can go wrong without them.
